Our 150 acre farm is in the peaceful hamlet of High Marishes, just 2.5 miles from Thornton le Dale and 6 miles from Malton. Our farm is a small working farm surrounded by fields, woodland, nature and tracks. Our beautiful restored granary was once part of the farm buildings and is now beautifully refurbished to be a wonderful retreat and luxury bunkhouse ideal for anyone looking for group accommodation for outdoor lovers and get togethers. The granary and old barn have been transformed into an idyllic and cosy space, ideal for friends or family as the endless space and cosy décor brings everyone together.
Our outdoor terrace is the perfect place to unwind with a drink or in the hot tub, listening to nature and admiring the views across the paddocks and beyond to the Vale of Pickering. The big skies are the perfect back drop to sit with friends, laugh, make memories and unwind.

Here at the Peddler’s Den we are surrounded by wonderful country, Dalby forest is just 5 miles away and is filled with bikes tracks, ‘go ape’ the tree top adventure course and many interesting walks, such as the Brides Stones walk. There is also the famous North Yorkshire Moor steam Railway in the market town of Pickering, which runs through the breath taking National Park.
We have thought of everything the outdoor lover requires, featuring a secure bike lock up facility and drying room for muddy boots and wet clothes. We have also fitted our courtyard with top of the range, brand new stables for the equine adventure, and a horse shower and wash off area after a long day riding. We have plenty of parking for trailers and lorries. Please get in touch if you would like to bring horses so special arrangements can be made.
